Good morning and happy Humpday!

The economic impact that an event like ETH Denver has on the local economy is truly astounding.

In the depths of the bear market in 2023 the ETH Denver conference was able to generate ~$70M for the local Denver economies—this year they are predicting ~$100M in economic impact.

The massive influx of cash comes from flights, hotels, food, ride share platforms, entertainment, and anything else that people pay for while they are in town for the week. Last year there were 48,000 attendees from 115 different countries, I’m looking forward to seeing how many people are here this weekend.

Day 3 at ETH Denver, and the vibes are consistent: Ease of Use, Access, Interoperability. It's becoming crystal clear that the blockchain horizon is set to transform, moving away from the cryptic crypto experiences we've all wrestled with. The future's about seamless integration into everyday life, where blockchain isn't just a buzzword but a utility as common as online banking. Here's a snapshot of the innovative ideas brewing:

1. E-Commerce Evolution: Imagine snagging your Amazon haul with the cryptocurrency of your choice. It's not just a pipe dream—several teams are on the brink of making it a reality. They're crafting widgets and tools for in-person and online payment processing that could revolutionize how we shop.

2. Chain Abstraction Layers: This is the new lingo for making different blockchains play nice with each other. It's about creating a user-friendly layer that lets you mingle with any blockchain contract from a single interface, without the headache of juggling multiple platforms or currencies.

3. Autopilot for Your Assets: Picture setting up an AI agent that manages your crypto just like a savvy financial advisor, but you're on a beach sipping a mojito, not worrying about your next investment move. This level of automation and ease of access is where the wind is blowing for blockchain.

The mantra here is clear: Ease of Access. The days of flaunting your "crypto wizardry" might be numbered. The goal is to make blockchain so user-friendly that even your grandma can navigate it without breaking a sweat.

In other news, our buddy Pat from the Shucked Up Oyster Club and Decent Media has joined the fray with Cletus and me. Brace yourselves for some top-tier content as we dive deeper into ETH Denver's blockchain bonanza.

1983: The Final Episode of M*A*S*H

On this day in 1983, the final episode of M*A*S*H became a monumental TV event, watched by 106 million people. Its cultural impact was profound, uniting viewers across the nation in a shared moment of closure for one of the era's most beloved shows. The massive audience it drew is a testament to the show's place in the heart of American culture, a reminder of the power of television to bring people together.

Artificial Intelligence

Hollywood Will Never Be the Same

Tyler Perry just hit pause on an $800 million expansion of his film studio, all thanks to the jaw-dropping potential of AI, showcased by OpenAI's Sora demo. This isn't just about saving bucks on sound stages or scenic backdrops. Perry's move signals a deeper, industry-wide revolution, where AI's role in film could redefine everything from production to labor.

Think about it: When someone like Perry shifts gears on an investment that hefty because of AI, is a wake-up call. If an $800 million reevaluation doesn't make you sit up and take notice of the AI wave, what will?
